The L Tech Process Assessment

Bring us your broken process.

Bring one process that is costing the business time, money, accuracy, or visibility. We’ll help determine what a better system could look like.

No technical specification required.

01A good place to begin

You know the process is expensive. You may not know the solution.

That is exactly the gap the assessment is designed to close. It gives L Tech enough operational context to understand the shape of the problem before recommending a tool or project.

01

Too much manual or repetitive work

02

A spreadsheet the business cannot outgrow

03

Systems that require duplicate entry

04

Reporting that arrives late or takes days

05

Software that almost fits—but not quite

06

A process that depends on one person

07

Growth that is exposing inconsistency

08

Interest in AI without a clear use case

02What we evaluate

Five decisions. One coherent system.

The assessment is not a disguised pitch for custom software. It is a structured way to decide what the process actually needs.

  1. 01

    Keep

What already works and should remain?

  2. 02

    Connect

    What systems should exchange information?

  3. 03

    Automate

What repeatable work should technology handle?

  4. 04

    Build

What missing functionality needs to exist?

  5. 05

    Measure

    What information should become visible?

03What happens

Start small enough to understand.

The first conversation should make the problem clearer—not bury it under a heavyweight consulting process.

  1. 01

    Name the process

Tell us where the work starts, who touches it, and what feels slow, fragile, expensive, inconsistent, or invisible.

  2. 02

    Follow the reality

We look at the actual handoffs, decisions, exceptions, systems, spreadsheets, and data—not only the documented procedure.

  3. 03

    Define a better direction

We determine what should be kept, connected, automated, built, and measured, then identify a practical next step.

The goal is a useful next decision. If an implementation makes sense, it is scoped separately and built incrementally.

Questions before the first one

What you don’t need to have figured out.

Do I need to know what software we need?+

No. Bring the business problem, the people involved, and what is going wrong. Determining the right technology is part of the work.

Does the process need to be documented already?+

No. Most important processes are only partly documented. Discovery is designed to uncover the real flow, including the exceptions that rarely make it into a procedure manual.

Will the answer always be custom software?+

No. The right answer may be a process change, better configuration, an integration, automation, reporting, custom software, or a combination. We build only what is missing.

Can we start with one department or workflow?+

Yes. One expensive or fragile process is often the best place to begin because it creates a concrete scope and a useful way to evaluate the working relationship.

04Start the assessment

Tell us what isn’t working.

Describe one process, who interacts with it, and where it breaks. L Tech will review the context before recommending a next step.

This is a first conversation, not a commitment. Do not include passwords, financial account details, health information, or other sensitive data.

Optional

A short, concrete description is enough. Include where it begins, who touches it, and where it breaks.
